You know? I'm from Florida. So I drew a flamingo. For my Florida folks. Can't wait to pink it up. A lot of people ask me up here in Canada land how I could leave such a warm place. I guess I'm just weird! Actually I followed a boy up here when I was 19.

I have a slew of plans in the works. I'm excited to finally be moving forward with my art, I just wish I could speed things up, but being a momma of two wee ones (3 and nearly 2 years), one still recovering from a chemo treatment for bilateral retinoblastoma, forces one to take time. That last bit of news about the kids said, they are both doing well. My daughter has been stable for nearly a year and a half, while my son has no new tumors and growth of current ones are slowing, and with current chemo treatments the tumors shrank. We are hoping for future inactivity of these stubborn tumors for him.

Other news: I am planning on some auctions for prints, selling some soon to come original paintings. Some prototypes for greeting cards are in the works and I have to admit they're lookin' pretty cute!

I also have a children's book in process. The main draft is nearly complete. So, if all goes well, there should be lots to look forward to, in many ways!!
